Live music, huge drinks menu, fantastic food, old-world charm. What if you could go to a Golden Plates Award-winning authentic Irish pub without having to travel to Ireland? What if you could enjoy a meal along with a pint of Guinness accompanied by the live musical stylings of local acoustic guitar solo artist Jordan Burgess? If you take my recommendation by going to Dublin Crossing Irish Pub, Vancouver, this coming Friday evening at 7 PM it will become a reality and you will congratulate yourself on your excellent decision.
Listen to just a couple of reviews for Dublin Crossing Vancouver on tripadvisor.ca: "Great choice of beer. I had the cottage pie and it was fantastic. My wife had bangers and mash, and said it was excellent."--Tom Cheers, Krakow, Poland. "The atmosphere has a great pub feel, the service was awesome. We ordered the potato nacho plate and it was amazing."--Mark D, Vancouver, BC.
As for grub, you will enjoy everything from a Belfast Burger with yam fries to Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding, to Chicken Pub Pie, to Lamb Stew, to everything in between. In fact, the menu is so extensive and interesting that you may have difficulty choosing what to order. This is not even to mention the desserts. And if Guinness doesn't catch your fancy, there is always Harp, Kilkenny, or Magners Cider and local draught craft beers like Red Truck to choose from.
You'll absolutely love the decor of Dublin Crossing: it is one of Vancouver's newest pubs, having opened in February 2016, and it is an all-authentic Irish pub with all the genuine Irish pub furnishings to delight your eye. And the Staff (ask for "Brittany") give wonderful service, are very attentive, and always go that "extra mile". The pub is also located at Marine Gateway development which gives you direct and convenient access by Skytrain connecting you to downtown Vancouver or Vancouver airport (YVR). You will also be pleasantly surprised by the warm and inviting ambiance of the establishment.
And if that isn't enough to rev you up, there is also the distinct possibility of catching a movie at the 11-screen Cineplex VIP theatre also located right at Marine Gateway after enjoying your dinner at the pub. All-in-all Dublin Crossing Vancouver is a great choice for an evening out and it is the only award-winning authentic Irish pub in South Vancouver
